"Inside our Federal and Provincial Prisons you find small dysfunctional towns and cities.  These institutions can produce skewed thinking.  Evil can become normal!  Prison 'Normal' is unrecognizable to most communities. To have an organization like "Refuge Ministries" attempting to bridge the gap where prisoners are released into society is extremely valuable.  The bridge between the church and the prison chapel will likely only be made when a congregation becomes aware of the problem. Refuge Ministries is an incredible tool that God can use in helping our Christian community live out the instruction found in Hebrews 13:3 "Remember the prisoners as if chained with them..."

"We were enriched by REFUGE MINISTRIES, days following people were making reference to what you had shared. We believe that Refuge Ministries has a great place in the kingdom at this time to empower people of faith to effectively reach the lost behind prison bars.Thank-you for choosing our nation as an outlet for your ministry this time around. "

"I heard of Rev. Alan Campbell and Refuge Ministries last year in 2005.  I attended one of his meetings in Winnipeg and received helpful information and incite regarding prison ministries.  The testimonies of deliverance and healing were astounding.  I invited Alan to be one of our workshop speakers for the 2006 PAOC Aboriginal Conference in Winnipeg.  Alan's workshops were entitled, "The Importance of Vision to Ministry" and "Equipping the Local Church for Prison Ministry Today".  I recommend Alan as a guest speaker in local churches and as a conference speaker.  He has a real passion to equip churches for prison ministry."

"Thank you Alan for presenting to our group at Belongers the opportunities that exist involving Prison Ministry. The information that you provided stirred some people to think that they can actually get involved and make a difference in others lives. We're looking forward to the future and opportunities to minister together to reach those that most choose to neglect and forget. God's love knows no bounds, barriers or bars."
